RIVERO
Versatile artist in every sense of the word. Graduated from the Cuban School of Ballet. He has danced with a vast list of companies in Europe. He was a former lead dancer at the National Ballet of Cuba, (1991-1995), Opera Zurich (1995-1997), Royal Ballet of Flanders (1998) and with National Dance Company with Nacho Duato (1999-2007). He was also a guest artist at the Young Ballet de France (1995), He has been an assistant in stage movement at the Nuremberg Opera House (2009-2012) and in the Chamber Opera and Chamber Musical Theatre. As a lead dancer, he has performed most of the roles within the traditional repertoire such as Giselle, Don Quixote, La fille mal gardée, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake as well as many other contemporary works by renowned choreographers such as Nacho Duato. He is also a theatre, film and television actor, and has worked under the guidance of famous directors such as Tomas Pandur, Carlos García Ruiz and Alejandro Alvarez. He is also a music lover and has done some music work of his own.
